How we make money
In short: when you click a link on FindVoucherCodes and buy something, the shop may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same.
Affiliate links
Most links to shops on our site are affiliate links. When you press “Get code”, “Get deal” or “Visit shop”, we send you to the shop through an affiliate network (such as Awin, CJ, Impact or Rakuten). The network places a cookie in your browser so that, if you buy, the shop knows you came from us and pays us a commission. We mark these links in our code as sponsored.
We also record each click on our own server, with a random reference number, so we can see which pages and offers are useful and fix links that stop working. That reference contains nothing that identifies you. See our privacy notice.
What commission doesn’t change
- The price you pay, and the discount you get.
- Which codes we show. We list codes from shops that don’t pay us too, when we can.
- The order of codes on a shop page, which is based on whether codes are exclusive, whether they work and when they were added.
- Success rates and “used today” counts, which come straight from what shoppers do and tell us.
Exclusive codes
Codes marked Exclusive were agreed directly between us and the shop for our readers. Shops may pay a higher commission on them.
Advertising rules
We follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising (CAP Code) and the Advertising Standards Authority’s guidance on affiliate marketing: our commercial relationships are disclosed on every page, and we don’t present paid placements as editorial opinion. If you think something on our site is misleading, please tell us.
